Six foundation paper piecing templates, and then it is up to you.

Tessellation is less a quilt pattern than a system. Arrange the blocks as shown, or rotate and recombine them into layouts that look nothing like the cover. Use one block type throughout for something uniform and graphic, or mix all six and let the triangles fracture across the surface. The pattern is built to be a starting point rather than a destination, which is why people make it more than once.

Foundation paper piecing means points that actually meet, even on the acute angles that make this design work. If you have been meaning to learn FPP, the geometry here rewards the effort visibly.

Includes six block templates, detailed instructions, color illustrations, and a block map you can color in to plan your layout before you cut. That coloring page is worth more than it sounds: with this many arrangement options, deciding on paper first saves a lot of second-guessing at the design wall.

Finished quilt measures 48" x 60". The design also scales beautifully into pillows, bags, and garment panels.

Note: A coordinating acrylic triangle ruler is available separately and makes cutting faster and more accurate.
