Sweet Shop Sewing Mini Macaroon Pouch Kit by Zakka Workshop
A tiny zippered pouch shaped like a French macaron, and yes, you will make more than one.
Finished size is about 2 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/8" tall, which is exactly right for stitch markers, a spare pair of earrings, coins, seed beads, or the small hardware that migrates to the bottom of every project bag. It also makes a very good little gift, especially filled with something.
The kit includes the pattern, one set of 2" macaroon discs, and one 6" macaroon zipper. You supply the fabric, which is the fun part: this is a scrap project, and a two-color macaron in your favorite print takes about a fat eighth of nothing.
Rated confident beginner, using standard machine sewing with some hand stitching. The curved seam is the technique that makes it, and at this scale it is a very low-stakes place to practice one.
Extra discs and zippers are sold separately (items ZW6639 and ZW6646), which is worth knowing before you start, because the first one takes an evening and then you want six.
