A unisex children's T-shirt with a straight cut and round neckline, which can be enhanced with a pocket, a yoke, or a button placket. Short and long sleeves are both included. A basic that adapts endlessly.

Six versions in one pattern, sizes 3 to 12 years. That range is what makes this a pattern you keep rather than use once. A child grows out of a size in a year; they do not grow out of this envelope for a decade. 

What you learn: sewing ribbing at a neckline, sewing a pocket, sewing yokes, and making a button placket. Rated easy to intermediate. The ribbing is the skill worth having, since a neatly finished knit neckline is the single thing that separates a homemade tee from a made one, and it transfers to every knit garment you sew afterward.

Recommended fabric: cotton or cotton elastane jersey, or slub jersey.

Includes the full-size printed pattern with all sizes, plus an A5 guidebook with detailed steps in a bilingual French and English edition. Ikatee also publishes a free chapter-indexed video tutorial covering every version and step, and a free bonus tutorial for adding a ruffled band to Version 2.
