A big lavender prize ribbon frames a circle full of fair favorites: a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, a hot air balloon, a striped big top, a bunch of balloons, cotton candy and corn, cowboy boots and a hat, a quilt block, and blue-ribbon livestock including a bunny, a pig and a chicken. Stitched on black Aida, the bright colors really pop. It’s a fun piece for anyone who grew up on fair food, 4-H, or entering quilts and stitching in the county fair.
