Moda's Bella Solids in White Bleached, the bright, cool white that reads as a true white rather than a soft one.
This is the background fabric a lot of modern quilts are built on. Bella has a slightly fuller hand than some competing solids, which means it holds a crease well, presses crisp, and gives seams something to grip. In a quilt with a lot of small piecing, that stability shows up in the finished top.
White Bleached is the brightest of Moda's white range. It has no warmth in it, so it makes saturated colors look more saturated and keeps a rainbow layout from going muddy. If you want a white that recedes and lets the color do the work, this is the one. If you want something softer that sits closer to a cream, Bella's warmer white or off white is the better pick.
100% USA grown cotton, 44" to 45" wide.
Cut: Sold in half yard increments, 18" x 44". Multiple quantities are cut as one continuous piece.
